Diana Waller hosted me to speak yesterday to an august group here in Las Vegas called the Soroptimists.  The mission of this international organization is humanitarian and their good works are of various kinds like working on the problem of human trafficking, and they work to provide single mothers with opportunities to go back to school, get better jobs, and better housing for their families.

I could not have been made to feel more welcome and I was even invited to join their organization.  This is the type of group I would be honored to be part of.

One Response so far.

  1. I had the pleasure of being part of the audience listening to My speak. What a pleasure it was to hear her read passages from her book. The enthusiasm and warmth with each passage was so enjoyable. My favorite part was hearing stories of childhood. How each child would learn from the stories adults told and how the neighborhood would come together to help one another. Thank you My for sharing your stories.
